Stephen from the Australian Insulation Foundation believes insulation work is so important for the livelihoods of West Australians that his team aims to provide free installations for social housing tenants.
“I would like to see every social housing property insulated to reduce the carbon footprint, as well as reducing heating, and cooling costs. I would also like to see solar panels put on each one of these roofs. If we can eliminate all debt from social housing we’ll have a happy state.”
